In 2018 husband and wife Jeff and Mandy DeBuigne decidedthat since their shared passion is angling they should drop out of thecorporatemachine and do what they love. They moved to Maine to own andoperate the business. Their team at Al??s includes dedicated employeesandsupplemental help in the busy seasons from local work programswhichassist individuals with barriers to employment. ??Our employeesand paidinterns are one of the best parts of this experience ?? saidMandy. ??They provide much needed help to Al??s and they are eager to beon the job and productive members of the workforce.??

Jeff and Mandy??s plans for the future of the company is tobring thebrand??s name back to global recognition which is a big goal but is gaining momentum every season. ??With pandemic closures offishing expos we have not been able to interface personally withanglers to talk about how they can use our products in their waters fortheir targetedspecies but the word is still getting out and we gainwhat we call new believers every day. Today many of the improvements made during Al??s history arestillmaintained. The Goldfish lures are still made of solid marinebrass are plated by a jewelry plater and individually handpainted. Allthe gold lures are still plated in 22 karat gold which makes themextremely shiny. They are then finished with topquality components soyou never have to replace hooks and rings. All of the Al??s Goldfishproducts are proudly made in the USA and backed with ??if you??re notsatisfied we??ll make it right by you??.
